Files archives
After a few hours of Drupal hacking, I've integrated the files archives from the old site into our new setup. Enojy!
Hi folks! You may have noticed that the site has been quiet recently, and has now undergone a few changes. I'm in the middle of re-arranging my on-line presence.
unreasonable.org/the unreasonable man will now be my blog on politics, culture, and technology. Other topics has moved to new
blogs, so that you can more effectively find the stuff that interests you:
Later I'll be migrating this site to a newer version of Drupal which will allow more features. But that's going to be an intensive project, and there's just too much going on in this crazy election year to get bogged down in that.
unreasonable.org has now been upgraded to Drupal 6. For those reading my ruminations via Facebook, Myspace, Yahoo, etc., there should be no changes, they'll still import my RSS feed. For anyone viewing the site directly, I'll be cleaning up old spam comments and stories, and adding new features in the days to come.
We're in the middle of upgrading our version of Drupal, the software that runs the site. It's a good thing but it will make a mess for a while. Sumimasen.
Due to a Drupal bug in support for PostgreSQL, we couldn't allow anonymous users to submit stories. I've found a patch for that bug, so now you won't have to register before submitting a story to us.
So - see something interesting? Feeing unreasonable? Tell us about it.

For many years I've been maintaining a guide to shoes and other goods made without leather. The Leather Substitutes Resource Guide has gone without revisious for far too long - a new version is now available.
Welcome to the reborn unreasonable.org!

persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all
progress depends on the unreasonable man." -- George Bernard Shaw
Bringing you commentary, opinion, news, and other stuff I feel like. Once we're fully set up, you'll be able to register to comment on articles here, or ever submit your own.
