start of public schools
I have just discovered that public schools in Carroll Co. starts Aug. 4th,2006. This is rediculous. Who decides this? Are they elected or appointed? If elected, when do we get to vote them out of office? If appointed, who appoints them? How do we find out who they are and how they voted? It's time we stood up and made our opinions known. With only 2 months summer vacation, kids get burned out on school and dis-interested. Do all county schools state-wide start at the same time?
